The Process

The Problem: Rather than renew the current Swedish website, the stakeholders wanted to switch over to SiteCore. They needed the previous website to update to our new design system. This was a quick turnaround in six weeks.

My Role:  I acted as the Senior UX Designer on this team. I worked closely with the Stakeholders, Project Manager, and UX Manager.

Brainstorming: In order to get an accurate idea of how the current designs would translate with the new assets, I spent time auditing each area and making suggestions as to where copy and content should be placed to support the user journey. From there I created Hi-fi Mock-ups with UX recommendations.

The Solution: Assets I produced:

  • Information Architecture

  • 5 Hi-fi Pages for Desktop & Mobile

  • Component Recommendations

Our stakeholders were impressed with the website migration and how quickly I was able to meet their deadline.

What I learned: Having to navigate this project quickly was a challenging task. I had to consider this tight deadline and stakeholder needs. A kick-off meeting was important to set the expectations of the request, the LOE, and the approval process. It was crucial that our stakeholders were informed about changes and feedback would need to be minimal. In the end I was able to provide an early completion. The stakeholders were highly impressed.
