PLX - UX Research & Testing

The dedicated page for the personalized dashboard experience is specifically tailored for pregnant women in their healthcare journey, providing them with content and AI recommendations relevant to their needs. This page served as a user testing platform to gauge whether users would be interested in such a tailored experience. Stakeholders wanted to test this theory.

Programs Used:

Figma / Userzoom / Power Point

The Process

The Problem: Stakeholders wanted to access a theory for a dashboard for pregnant women in their healthcare journey, providing them with content and AI recommendations relevant to their needs.

My Role:  I acted as the Senior UX Designer and Researcher on this project. I worked closely with the Stakeholders, Project Manager, UX Manager, and UX Director.

Process: I dedicated time to researching personalized dashboards and recommendation pages. I examined competitors like Zocdoc, MyChart, Curology, and other online medical platforms. For this specific project, we wanted to focus on users' feedback to generally see if this is something they could benefit from. I began with a short brief to outline the project to make sure we aligned on the problem we think we may be solving for the user. Overall it was about gaining user knowledge. In the above deck, I provided potential risks, pros, and cons that we may encounter with this content. I produced multiple mock-ups to potentially test. This was what we landed on the mockup below. I then arranged testing into userzoom.

The Solution: Assets I produced:

  • Benchmarking

  • Mock-ups

  • Brief

  • Research Deck

  • Research Study in Userzoom

  • User feedback

What I learned: Stakeholders may occasionally want to explore theories or ideas, but we require some form of data to evaluate their potential impact on the business. Therefore, before approving any plans, we must assess if certain healthcare or information could be sensitive for users. We will start by examining the existing data or details and then proceed from there. The stakeholders aim to conduct the test within the next few months.
